Ingredients

  • Serves 15 pieces
  • ½ cup of Quaker Rolled Oats
  • ½ cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • ⅓ cup Flour
  • 125g Jamon Serrano
  • 1 ⅘ cups Milk
  • 4tbsp Butter
  • 4tbsp Flour
  • 2 sheets Gelatin
  • Salt (as needed)
  • Pepper (as needed)

Procedure

1 PREPARATION
  1. Cut the jamon serrano into tiny cubes.
  2. Melt the butter then add the flour to make a roux.
  3. Add the milk. Stir until very thick.
  4. Remove from the heat, add the tiny cubes of ham, then dissolve the gelatin. Let it rest for 1 day in the chiller.
  5. Get 30g of paste, then form into a ball.
2 COATING & COOKING
  1. Prepare 3 bowls: In the first bowl, prepare the flour.
  2. In the second bowl, mix the bread crumbs and chopped Quaker Rolled Oats.
  3. In the third bowl, beat the eggs whites.
  4. Dip the croqueta into the flour, then into the egg white, and then into oats and bread crumbs.
