Oat Pancakes

Ingredients

  • Serves 6-8 pieces
  • Main Ingredients
    • 1/2 cup Quaker Rolled Oats
    • 1 1/2 cups Flour
    • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar or Coconut Sugar
    • 2 tsps Baking Powder
    • 1 ½ cups Milk
    • 2 tbsps Vegetable Oil
    • 1 Egg
  • Triple Chocolate Pancakes
    • 2 tbsps White Chocolate Chips
    • 2 tbsps Milk Chocolate Chips
    • 2 tbsps Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Homemade Chocolate Sauce
    • ⁄2 cup Dark Chocolate
    • 3⁄4 cup Light Cream
  • Buko Pandan Pancakes
    • 3 tbsps Young Coconut Pandan Flavoring (as needed)
  • Chai Tea Pancakes
    • 1⁄2 tsp Cinnamon
    • 1⁄4 tsp All Spices Powder
    • 1 tsp Vanilla Flavoring

Procedure

1 Cooking Instructions
  1. In a bowl, mix together flour, oats, sugar, and baking powder with a whisk.
  2. Slowly add the milk and the egg.
  3. Add the vegetable oil (optional).
  4. On a non-stick skillet: pour a ladle of pancake batter for regular-sized pancakes. After a few minutes at medium heat, flip and cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Serve it warm!
2 Variations

TRIPLE CHOCOLATE PANCAKES

Add all chocolate chips into the pancake batter before cooking.

HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE SAUCE

In a saucepan, boil the cream and pour it over the chocolate. Pour it over the cooked pancakes.

BUKO PANDAN PANCAKES

Add the young coconut and the pandan flavoring into the pancake batter. Serve it with dessicated coconut on top.

CHAI TEA PANCAKES

Add all the spices to the pancake batter. Cook it and serve it warm!
